Decision and Appeals
On November 29, 2010, the Ontario Municipal Board issued a decision on Regional Official Plan Amendment No. 37 (ROPA 37) “An Amendment to Incorporate the Basic Requirements of the Places to Grow Plan”. See below for a copy of this decision.
All appeals to ROPA 37 were withdrawn, except appeals related to subsections 38(a), 38(b) and 38(f)(11)(d). As of the date of the decision, ROPA 37 is in force and effect with the exception of these three subsections. Appeals to the outstanding subsections will be addressed following the Provincial decision on ROPA 38.
If you have any questions or comments with regard to the Ontario Municipal Board’s decision on ROPA 37, please email them to planning@halton.ca or contact the Planning Services Division at 905-825-6000 ext. 7987.
